Getting A New Edge In Downloading With Mobile Wifi Hotspot

Are you tired of the same old broadband service? Want something that has lightning speed? Well, then the problem to the solution lies in a simple technology called Wi-Fi. The internet downloading has evolved with time.  Slow and time-consuming process has quickly transformed into a fastest one. And thus this technology that has revolutionized the way in which computer networks work with other electronic devices. Knowing the process of its working is very important before taking up the latest process to effectively command its utilities.

Technology Used in Wi-Fi

A Wi-Fi transmission uses radio technology naming 802.11 that can effectively send data over short distances by means of high frequencies. The operational range of this radio technology varies on type which is either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. The pivotal point of working for this network is the router that comes with transmitting antennas that act as an outlet for data transfer. Usually, the range of the device and the Mobile Wifi Hotspotis approximately 300 feet outdoors, but decreases to 150 feet, indoors.

Types Of Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi technology is not limited to only 802.11a, but there are few more in the series like 802.11 b, 802.11 g, and 802.11 n, amongst which, the 802.11 b and g operates within the range of 2.4GHZ. While the b type can transmit data up to a speed of 11Mbps and the g type works at the speed of 54 Mbps. The versions of Wifi Hotspot Devicesthatare developed recently is the 802.11 n, which can give speed up to 450Mbps running in both single channel and dual channel. But while measuring this speed, the obstruction that is coming up the path like a wall, buildings, trees might shorten the range of data transfer.
